Subject: ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF BURIAL PLACES. #
I am directed to enclose herewith a copy of letter No. 2(2)2001-Ops/NRB(P-II), dated 13-09-2004, received from Prime Minister’s Secretariat National Reconstruction Bureau, Islamabad, on the subject noted above and to state that NRB has advised that TMA may provide funds to a registered CCB for the establishment and maintenance of burial places within its jurisdiction, provided that the classification of the schemes to be undertaken by CCBs announced by the TMA under Section-119 of the Punjab Local Government Ordinance, 2001 at the beginning of the financial year includes establishment and maintenance of burial places and such schemes fulfill the criteria laid down in the Punjab Local Government CCB Rules, 2003.
- Further necessary action in the matter may be taken accordingly.
