NOTIFICATION

No.SOR(LG)38-22/2017.- In exercise of the powers conferred under section 11 of the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961 (VIII of 1961), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to make the following amendments in the West Pakistan Rules under the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961, with immediate effect:

AMENDMENTS

In the West Pakistan Rules under the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961:

1. For the words “West Pakistan”, wherever appearing, the words “the Punjab” shall be substituted.
2. In rule 1, for the words “West Pakistan Rules under the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance”, the words “Punjab Muslim Family Rules” shall be substituted.
3. In rule 2:
4. in clause (c), the word “and” appearing at the end shall be omitted; and
5. after clause (c), the following clause (ca) shall be inserted:

“(ca)        “rules” means the Punjab Muslim Family Rules, 1961; and”.

4. In Form II, after Sr. No. (25), the following Sr. No.(26) shall be inserted:

میں مسلمان ہوں اور نبی حضرت محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم کے آخری، حتمی اور غیر مشروط خاتم النبین ہونے پر ایمان رکھتا / رکھتی ہوں۔ میں ایسے کسی بھی شخص کو نہیں مانتا / مانتی ہوں جو محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم کے بعد لفظ نبی کی کسی بھی تشریح یا کسی بھی ممکنہ حوالے سے نبی ہونے کا دعوی کرے، یا نبوت کے ایسے مدعی کو نبی یامزہبی مصلح، یا مسلمان ہی نہیں مانتا / مانتی ہوں۔ میں مرزا غلام احمد قادیانی کو جھوٹا نبی سمجھتا / سمجھتی ہوں اور اس کے لاہوری یا قادیانی گروپ سے تعلق رکھنے والے پیروکاروں کو غیر مسلم سمجھتا / سمجھتی ہوں۔

In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (b) of section 2 of the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance, 1961 (VIII of 1961), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to authorize the Assistant Director, Local Government and Community Development Department of concerned Tehsil as Chairman Arbitration Council, with immediate effect.
